Marco António Ludovico Marques, PhD in Geotechnics (Rock Mechanics), is an Assistant Prof. at Barreiro School of Technology of Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal since 2010, Head of Department of Structures and Geotechnics since 2014 till 2021.

He teaches at Higher Education Institutions since 2005 and has being responsible for more than twenty subjects (different curricula units).

Editorial board member of several journals and Reviewer of more than thirty journals. He is an expert for R&D and Innovation Project applications.
