Paula Miranda is Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics and Systems at School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Setubal. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology.
She has applied her research in the areas of educational technology, learning management systems and learning innovation.
Her areas of interest include Information Systems in general, social media, e-Learning, more specifically the use of Web technologies in learning environments and the integration of technology in education.
More recently, she has extended her research activity to areas related to Digital Transformation, Digital Health, and Digital Accessibility. She is also member of the editorial board of several journals and program committee member of several international conferences.
