The modernization of education in the health proposed by MedTech NEXT assumes, in a first approach, restructuring the training offer and the implementation of new curricular units in Higher Education Institutions. It also implies the creation of multifunctional rooms for active learning methodologies in a controlled environment, the reinforcement of the digital structure and virtual reality and simulation equipment, the investment in online tools for teaching and support in diagnosis and medical decision, the physical restructuring to house spaces with clinical environments for simulation, and the modernization of anatomical theater and experimental surgery structures. This renovation will allow a great innovation in undergraduate education and will also create conditions for the teaching of doctors and other health professionals, through the promotion of short courses that do not confer a degree and microcredentials.
