CQE-IMS

The Institute of Molecular Sciences (IMS) is an Associate Laboratory approved by FCT, organized into 5 thematic lines, which cover the main fields of research of its members, from materials and condensed matter to to medicinal chemistry. IMS has several partnerships in Doctoral Programs and is an integral part of the Portuguese Roadmap for Research Infrastructures of Strategic Interest.

Currently the IMS is made up of three research units: Chemistry Center of the University of Coimbra (CQC), Chemistry Research Center of the University of Porto (CIQUP) and Center for Structural Chemistry at the University of Lisbon (CQE). The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal awaits FCT's response to the request. request, now approved internally by the 3 participating institutions, to be included in the IMS as a Participating Management Entity.
