Biografia

I have a MSc in Software Engineering from Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal of Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (ESTS-IPS) and BSc in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering branch from ESTS-IPS.

Currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science at Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa on a scholarship from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. The PhD thesis is entitled 'Designing a Digital Twin for Personalised Serious Games-based Therapy' and proposes the research of a digital twin towards therapy for patients with disabilities, and machine learning methods and techniques for the smart layer, to provide solutions to obtain positive therapy results. Finding the right digital twin for therapy with patients with disabilities is relevant, aiming at prediction and simulation.

Invited assistant at ESTS-IPS teaching Web Programming.

Participated in 6 research projects as Research Fellow/Researcher.
