Professor, since 2001, in the department of Accounting and Finance at the School of Business Administration of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (ESCE/IPS), Portugal. Teaches in the areas of management accounting, public sector accounting, financial accounting and reporting, financial analysis and investment projects. Pedro has a Master and a PhD degree, both in Accounting from the ISCTE, University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal.
Currently holds the position of Dean in ESCE/IPS. Former Director of the first-degree course in Accounting and Finance in ESCE/IPS. Pedro was a member of the Research Center in Business Science (CICE/IPS), developing research in the fields of accounting, financial reporting, finance and capital markets, and management. He published a book in financial analysis, several book chapters and journal articles, and participates, regularly, in national and international conferences.
