Master in Economics and Social Policy, from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the Technical University of Lisbon (1997);
Bachelor's degree in Economics specializing in Economics and Production Organization from the Poznan University of Economics - Poland, Certificate in Online Education and Training, Institute of Education, University of London (2002) From March 2013 to December 2021 elected director of the Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal.
Since October 1997, professor at the Higher School of Business Sciences with intense involvement in the various internal structures of ESCE. Author of many articles and chapters of books and popular articles in the area of economics, economic development; social economy and volunteering.
Coordinator and participant in applied pedagogical and scientific projects with national and international funding.
Responsibility for supervising numerous master's theses and one doctoral thesis.
