Inês A. Ferreira presented her PhD Thesis on the topics of additive symbiotic networks and the adoption of blockchain technology. This work was realized within the Doctoral Program of Industrial Engineering at NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA), under a PhD Grant funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (SFRH/BD/145448/2019).
Inês started her PhD in 2019, after she delivered her Master's Thesis in Industrial and Management Engineering, focused on the topic of industrial symbiosis network in the portuguese pulp and paper industry.
From 2019 until 2020 she worked as an Invited Assistant Professor in Stock¿s Management classes at FCT NOVA. Furthermore, Inês has also worked as an Invited Auxiliary Professor at Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG), in the classes of Production and Operations Management. Currently, she is working as a Researcher and an Invited Auxiliary Professor for the classes of Warehouse Management at Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (IPS).
Since she finished her PhD, Inês has been involved in several research projects that relate to the digital and sustainable transition within the maritime sector, including the Mobility for Maritime Logistics Project (M4ML - Blue Growth Programme /PT-INNOVATION-0066) at FCT NOVA and the NEXUS Project (PRR with no. C645112083-00000059) at IPS. Her research interests mainly concern sustainability, circular economy, industrial symbiosis networks, and supply chain management.
